Tegin 2 klassi D20 Class Construction Engine'iga.

Klassid on üleval

Ninja on segu Rogue'ist ja Monk'ast. Sneak Attack ja Uncanny Dodge on Rogue'ilt, ülejäänu funkab nagu Monk. Alignment on nagu Druidil. Mõtekas oleks kiiremad Attack'id jätta ainult ühele relvale, näiteks Unarmed Strike VÕI Short Sword, aga mitte mõlemad, muidu võib kõrgemal levelil jamaks kätte ära minna.

Thiefmage'i madal Skill Pointide arv leveli kohta, pole selleks, et vähe Skille osata, vaid selleks, et osata palju, aga mitte Max Rank'iga. Spells Known ja Spells per Day väärtus on sama, Spelle tuleb hoolikamalt valida kui Sorcereriga. Kaval on valida Mundane võimeid assisteerivaid spelle nagu Shield, Invisibility, Haste jne.

Mõlemad on playtestitud, tulemused olid keskmised.

Ninjal oli lemmikrelvaks valitud Katana, kuid lasin Katana pähe kasutada ka Bastard Sword'i (statisticud mõlemal relval samad.) Combatis osutus Ninjal kõige efektiivsemaks Hit'n'run strateegia, mis oli taotluslik. Boots of Striding and Springingu ja Spring Attack'iga õnnestus siseruumides hüppe pealt lüüa lae all lendavaid vastaseid :)
Munchkinism avaldus 'Flurry-of-Blows'('Stunning-Fist' -> 'Sneak-Sneak-Sneak') valemiga, mis viidi ellu ühe raundi jooksul, aga ainult ühel korral.

Thiefmage ülsiselt natuke paremini tasakaalus. Proovind pole, aga munchkinism võib ilmselt valja lüüa 'Improved Invisibility'+'Thunderlance'+'Whirlwind Attack' skeemiga, mille puhul on võimalik teha raundis umbes 48 Sneak Attacki, kuna Thunderlance spell ('Magic of Faerun'ist) lubab tekkinud relva pikkust muuta 1-20 feet'i vahel Free Actioniga. Ftr4/Thm8 teeks ühe matsuga 2d6+3d6 dämmi ja teeks Dispel Check'i iga pihtasaanud oponendi peal olevate Force descriptoriga spell efektide vastu. Tundub liiga palju? Aga lev 12 Wizard teeks Fireball'iga 10d6, veits suuremasse alasse, 880 ft. pealt ja Reflexi DC-ga 17+

ma pidasin rohkem silmas seda, et relv areneb koos tegelasega, mitte tegelane koos relvaga.

mitte et sinu enda class abilityst tulevad boonused aga ikka mõõgast.
Et kui tegelane kasutab oma teel esimesest 20ndasse levelisse sama mõõka ja kui see näiteks on õnnistatud vahvasti siis see muutub koos temaga (saab expi tegelaselt/koos tegelasega) võimsamaks. Kui aga tegelane miskit teist relva kasutab siis ei tule niisama lambist mingeid boonuseid.
Samas, kui võtab miski teine char selle Areneva Mõõga, siis alustab mõõk null expist ja on täitsa tavaline väits. Idee siis (vist) selles et mõõk saab koos chariga expi.

Selleks võiks hooga DMG maagilise relva hinnavalemi ette võtta: 'Price:=SQR(Bonus)*2000' ja võtta Bonuseks +10. Näiteks 'Specific Weapon':

The Living Sword: Expensive to craft and thus hard to come by, this magical weapon is usaually a longsword, although any type of weapon is allowed. Its ability is to grow in power with its owner. Every time the owner of this weapon goes up in level, he may add Enhancement Bonuses or Special Abilities to it, assuming that his total character level meets the appropriate Caster Level Requirements, and the total of the blade's 'virtual cost' does not exceed 10'000 gp per character level. The character needn't possess Item Creation Feats or provide the prerequisite spells for the abilities, but other requirements such as race and alignment still apply. When adding Weapon Special Abilities, the character must pay 100 experience points per caster level of the ability to be implemented. The dynamic nature of the Living Sword even allows the owner to remove abilities and replace them, but such an act can only be accomplished during a downtime between levels at the same experience points cost, as adding those abilities. Enhancement bonuses can not be removed, unless the sword recognizes a new owner (see below).
This unusual weapon is never found as randomly generated treasure. It might be crafted by the royal archmage as a birthday present for the budding Paladin-Prince or by a high member of some clergy for the guardian of the faith, but it's not character-specific - the weapon can change owners and start its progress anew. Once the weapon has grown with a new owner, its old powers are lost and must be restored, should it be returned to its old master.
Caster Level: 15th; Prerequistites: Ctaft Magic Arms and Armor, Craft Wonderous Item, Wish or Miracle; Market Price: 200'315 gp; Cost to create: 100'315 gp + 8000 xp; Weight: 3 lb.

Näeh, täitsa pikk jutt tuli, inglise keeles, et oleks tuusam... nagu päris :D Hind ja mass said Longswordi järgi. Kasutjalt nõutav Caster Level Requirement peaks asja tasakaalus hoidma, nagu oleks parteis maag, kes siis kogu aeg faiterile mõõka edasi kräftib. Kõrge hind sai selleks, et relv asja-est-teist-taga mängu ei poeks. useri vahetusega kaasnev nulliminu on hea ja lihtne vahend pleieris paanika tekitamiseks. Item väga RARE, sellest ka DM'ile tükk mõttetööd, et kust setting sellise tuki välja võtab, PC'st rääkimata. Parim, mis minu meelest D20 süsteemile päris näkku ei sülita, kuigi mootor siukest asja eriti mugavalt ei jooksuta. Kasutada omal vastutusel, mina teda ei soovita.

Lihtsalt minupoolne arvamus - kas mängijal sellise relvaga igav ei hakka? Ses suhtes, et ehkki relv on maagiline ja idee tema arenemisest minu jaoks näiteks päris huvitav, siis vähemalt mina tegelasena ihkan tavaliselt ikka mõne aja tagant uue ja parema kaika kätte võtta. Ma saan aru et see relv areneb ja muutub seeläbi paremaks ja et otsene vajadus uue kaika järgi kaob, aga siiski... uus nänn on uus nänn.
Aga ideel kui sellisel pole viga midagi.

Intuitive: Weapons, armor and shields enhanced in this way feel familiar to the touch. Any creature that uses such equipment uses it as if proficient with it.

Võtame relva hinnaarvutusvalemi 'Price:=SQR(Bonus)*2000' ja relva hinna 15'310 gp. Hinnast lahutame 310 (MW short swordi hind) ja saame 15000. See on relva maagilise komponendi hind - võiks olla näiteks rapiir ja maksta 15'320 gp. Vaatame lähemalt, mis see 15K siis on: +1 ja 'Subtlety' special ability. Topime 15'000 hinnavõrrandisse ja saame, et Bonus:=SQRT(15'000/2'000)=2,73...
