Teema ajenduseks on BBC Radio 4 poolt loodud verivärske kuuldemäng Adamsi klassika "" põhjal.

on küll paraku meie hulgast juba ammu lahkunud (11. mai 2001), kuid alles paar aastat tagasi tehti Pöidlaküüdi Reisijuhist Galaktikas film (). Muide, viimasena mainitud teos alustas omal ajal just kuuldemänguna, alles hiljem pani DA selle kirja pisut teistmoodi kujul ka raamatuna. Pöidlaküüdi "triloogia" (tegelikult viis raamatut) kõrval võib klassikaks lugeda kindlasti ka Dirk Gently't ja Tähelaev Titanic'ut. Kuulakem/lugegem!
