Tegemist siis anglo-saksi eepose tõlgendusega suurel linal. On kellelgi õnnestunud juba näha? Kust seda saada võiks siin kandis?

Õnnestus lõpuks ära näha. Korralikult tehtud, kohati lummavad loodusvõtted ja hea kaameratöö. Aga üldmulje jäi selline argine ja kahvatu, polnud haaret ja originaalsust. Mõnede näitlejate esitatud karakterid olid kuidagi hambutud ja ei tekkinud sellist eepilist tunnet, nagu seda algteos lubada võiks. Ühesõnaga selline vaikselt tehtud Euroopa filmike, mis ei püüdnud millegagi rabada ja midagi olulist ära teha. Aga ämber kah polnud.
Näis kas Zemeckisel õnnestub paremini
