So after some searching with the ever inaccurate google translate I thought I'd just go ahead and post here to show my interest in D&D and whatever happenings going on here.

Anyway I'm from America and have been here in Tallinn for a while and finally found this place. I am really interested in joining a D&D game if possible. I don't have any material or texts with me and I never played regularly enough to remember detailed things about the game other than dealing with my character.

I like D&D 3 and 3.5 (which is a mix of D&D and some other franchise that meshes together well). I've played 4 but I can't remember if it was oversimplified and killed off some of the good features of 3.

I really want to play ASAP! I manage a cozy hostel here in Old Town on Uus 14 called Old Town Backpackers (no not Tallinn Backpackers). I would love to host since I can seat quite many in a comfortable environment and for an even more interesting place we could hop into one of my favorite cafes in Old Town.

Maybe there aren't enough English speaking D&D players to put a game together... let alone a DM

It is not surprising that no one has invited you yet. Estonian tabletop RPG community is not large and the heydays of this forum are far in the past. Also, D&D groups tend to be relatively closed. Finally, I guess that most players prefer to use Estonian in games.

Estonian is a cool medieval sounding language anyway, I can see why.

I'd love to play with you. I love the way english sounds and it would be awesome to try roleplaying in a foreign language.
I'm kinda sick of DM'ing but I'd be happy to participate in your group as a player.

EDIT: Scratch that. If we can't find a DM then maybe I'd be willing to give it a try.

YAY! Well thats 4! I can probably make it 5 or 6 or if you guys know anyone we can become an even bigger group.

So how about it? D&D 3.5 or 4th edition? I can host everyone at my hostel or we can meet in Raekoja Plats, Drakon III (give it that medieval flavor).

We can start next week. I have an open schedule so you guys can determine when.

Well, I'd prefer 4th edition. Also my girlfriend wants to play aswell, so we have one more player!

Alright guys well we should all at least meet. How about tomorrow at 1800? Seems to be the regular time people get off work. If this message doesn't get read in time then lets try again Thursday same time unless someone posts otherwise. We can meet earlier too.

Also I found this place thanks to a LOTR fan so maybe we could approach them for members or a DM I have their websites/forums but they're in Estonian and I didn't bother to translate.

About lotr-fans - read this forum too. But we have very few DM-s on Keskmaa ordu and those, who are, are very-very busy.
(I know, I have been waiting for a game with a certain DM more than a year.)
