Eksperimentaalarheoloogia ja muistse käsitöö laager Lätis
Postitatud: 6:48 24. Apr 2006
Olen vastavat infot kitsamas ringis levitanud, kuid ei ole kindel, kas see on kõigi võimalike asjahuvilisteni jõudnud.
Nimelt toimub käesoleva aasta juunis meie lõunanaabrite lätlaste korraldamisel rahvusvaheline eksperimentaalarheoloogia ja muistse käsitöö laager Zvartava kindluses. Laagri nimi on ametlikult "Minevikust tulevikku" (From history to future). Sellest võtavad osa Rootsi, Soome, Läti ja Eesti üliõpilased. Igast riigist on oodatud 8 inimest+grupi juht. Rootslased on Lundi ja soomlased Helsingi ülikooli ajalooüliõpilased. Osalevad ka ehtekunstnikud, kes ei ole ajalooüliõpilased. Üliõpilase staatus ei ole määrav, vaid on seatud vanusetsensus 18 - 25 a. Tegu on Euroopa Liidu finantseeritava projektiga, mille Eesti osakond on internetis leitav aadressilt http://www.noored.ee.
Laagri põhisisuks on eksperimentaalarheoloogiaga tegelemine (külastatakse ka Araisi pronksiaja asulat), iidsete käsitööoskuste taaselustamine, keskonna ja muististe kaitse ning keskonnasäästliku elustiili üle diskuteerimine jpm. Tutvustatakse oma rahvuslikke laule, tantse, toite jne.
Osalejatele läheb üritus maksma bussipileti Riiga ja tagasi, mis üliõpilastele ei ole palju. Ülejäänu eest maksab Euroopa Liit. Ettevalmistuseks antakse grupile 200 eurot.
See, kuidas grupid end laagriks ette valmistavad ja millised on diskusioonide teemad, selgub mai alguses, kui käin ära Riias, kus kohtun laagri peakorraldaja ja teiste gruppide koordinaatoritega.
