Tekkis küsimus, et kui vanad head viikingid jms. oma suurejoonelised lahingud lõpetasid, siis kuhu panid kirvekandjad oma kirve, kui seda vaja ei olnud. Selga, kuidagi võõle, mujale? Kuidas? Käes on seda ju tülikas kanda, või mis? :?

Kirveteral võis olla ümber ehk nahast vms. terakaitse ja kirves pandi vöövahele.
Keskajast on ka vist teada kirve"konnasid",millega kirves vööle käis.
Noorik larpi kohta:
aga et see. mulle on mulje jäänud jutu järgi et seal on enamus suht vanad . ja siis seal on mingid karu tüübid ja värgid , noh mingi suur karu (või vana karu) ja nooo karu või midagi.
Ja üks teine neidis:

Sõjakirves käis valdavalt ikka vööle - kas libistati läbi nahast aasa/toru mis relvavöö küljes (pea ülespoole) või oli kirve enda küljes tugevam nahkrihm millega selle sai suvalise vöö külge kinnitada.

Kes arvab, et kuidagi ebamugav on või lõikab, eksib. Kes arvab, et kiiresti kätte ei saa, eksib samuti.
