Dragonbane tuumikseltskonnas kerkinud teema

On alljärgnevas kirjas. Asja sisuline signaal on see, et kui Eesti valitaksegi mängu asukohaks, peab kaasalööjate arv eelkõige tehniliste ülesannete tätmisel suurem olema. Muidu jääb meist täesti mälestus kui paigast, kus on palju tööd ja vähe FUNi.
Hi!
I'm leaving out the issue about game location, as I have voiced
my personal opinion already. But this text touches, somewhat,
the "falling in with the wrong task" feeling too.

Niki brought up a very important issue - motivation and FUN!
One thing is sure: without motivated people there will not be DB.
Without fun, motivation very fast declines and vanishes.
I think we have currently one very big problem: several persons
are doing too much work. Stress takes the fun out of everything.
And - naturally? - there is too much work because there is too
few people. So, we need to invite more people to the project.
I believe that as soon as we can get the public website open and
a "drafting campaign" going, the stress on current doers abates.
But even that don't necessarily bring the fun back. So what is
fun? Mostly, doing things with other people. Most of my work on
Dragonbane has been quite lone stewing. I WOULD have enjoyed it
(more) if I had had some company telling stories, joking, and
just sharing the hard times.
Basicly I believe that as the game is a social event, then the
creation process should be a social event too. I hope that when
more people come in, we can form a local DB workgroup in Turku,
Finland, too. Whii!
But this is my personal thought only. How would YOU put more
fun into the project?
Yours,
H
